A non-needle alternative that can still yield some great results. We incorporate acupressure in our weight loss and facial rejuvenation programs. We also educate our patients on simple, at-home uses for acupressure, for everything from headaches, to indigestion, to allergies.

Cupping is the use of glass cups and fire to create suction. This action draws toxins away from the body, and at the same time improves circulation to muscles and soft tissue. Cupping is a great way to help with sports injuries, chronic pain /or deficiency in addition to other conditions it treats.
Gua Sha is the use of friction through heavy rubbing with either a metal, plastic or bone device, to bring toxins to the body’s surface. It is mainly used to stimulate circulation and relieve pain. Most patients find the sensation relaxing, and can experience immediate relief. A more intense treatment, gua sha can cause bruising that will dissipate within a 2-3 days.
Moxibustion (Moxa) is the use of burning herbs to warm and comfort the body. The herbs used are traditionally believed to enter the body’s circulation, warming the interior for joint and muscle pain and improving organ function. Moxa is a great way to strengthen weak digestive functions, and alleviate some types of arthritis.
Herbal Remedies & Diet
Herbs and diet undeniably go hand-in-hand. Minor adjustments to diet can have a surprisingly big impact on your health. We offer diet recommendations based on traditional Chinese medicine, and herbal remedies as well. Used in conjunction with acupuncture, herb formulas and diet can help with issues from preventative care to acute pain.
Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture
Reverse the signs of aging naturally. Fine acupuncture needles are inserted into the dermis layer to stimulate collagen growth. Additional needles are inserted to use your body's qi energy to promote circulation to the face and neck. These protocols are custom tailored to address your areas of concern. Each session is 60 minutes in length and includes herbal and nutritional counseling, as well as a post-treatment facial acupressure session.
Your skin is the only organ you need to nourish from the inside and on the outside. With Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture we address both! Benefits of Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture include:
